Elementary geometry is very visual, but you can teach it physically as well. Teaching with multiple modalities whenever possible makes information stick much better in the minds of children.
How to help students understand high school geometry?
To better help kids learn geometry, we need to include more justifications, informal proofs, and "why" questions during elementary and middle school. In general, students need to think, reason, analyze, and use their brain in various school subjects (not just math).
Elementary Geometry. (How to make it fun!)
Many adults shudder at the thought of their geometry education; theorems, proofs, and endless problems to work. Yet, geometry doesn't have to be a bore. There are so many ways to make it fun and applicable to real life.
